Privacy for participation applications
This notice explains how data submitted when applying to join a beta or propose a contribution to PlexSub is handled. Applications are voluntary and reviewed manually.

Controller and contact

No postal address, telephone number or other contact details unnecessary for this process are published.
Purpose and data processed
Data is used to receive, organise, assess and respond to beta or contribution applications; contact applicants about them; and coordinate onboarding where appropriate. The current form will not be used for marketing or updates unless separate, voluntary consent and its own information are provided.
Depending on the response, this may include an email address; name or alias; language and approximate time zone; self-hosting experience; platforms and general environment; areas of interest or contribution; motivation and availability; open responses; an optional professional link; and confirmations concerning active development, security, privacy and age.
The application is voluntary, but required fields are necessary to assess it. PlexSub does not request or receive an IP address as a form field or response. When providing its services, Google may process technical data such as IP address, browser, device and logs under its own policies and configuration.
Legal basis and withdrawal
The legal basis is the applicant's consent, requested before the external form is submitted. The exact approved wording is available in the Spanish privacy notice.
You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to the contact above. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out lawfully before the request.
Recipients, providers and international transfers
The application uses Google Forms as an external provider. The exact approved provider and transfer information is maintained in the Spanish notice.
Responses are currently reviewed by the controller. Other authorised people would receive access only where necessary for the project and subject to an appropriate duty of confidentiality.
Google states that it uses global infrastructure and may process information outside the country of residence. See Google's Privacy Policy and its information about data transfer frameworks.
Retention
The precise approved retention period is stated in the Spanish privacy notice.
Applications are reviewed periodically and deleted when the stated period has elapsed or processing is no longer necessary. If consent is withdrawn, earlier deletion will be managed unless an applicable legal obligation requires some information to be retained.
Rights and complaints
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection where applicable, restriction of processing and portability where applicable, and withdraw consent. Write to privacidad@plexsub.dev and state the right you wish to exercise.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Adults, security and manual decisions
The form is intended only for people aged 18 or over. Do not send passwords, tokens, API keys, private URLs, configuration files, financial data, or real installation or customer data.
Applications and participation decisions are reviewed manually. No solely automated decisions are made, and submitting an application does not guarantee access or acceptance.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes materially, it will be updated before new applications are collected under the new conditions. This page is an informative translation; the Spanish notice remains the approved detailed layer. Participate shows a summary before opening the external form.
